Communication Procedure
1. Notification to Local Agencies.
In accordance with the Ohio Administrative Code, LCM provides a copy of our Community Engagement Plan to all:Local law enforcement agencies
Emergency management agenciesFire departmentsTownship trustees within our jurisdiction
Timing:
Within ten days of obtaining certificationEvery second year thereafter, within ten days
2. Information for Community Members
Community members and service providers receive information about the Ohio Department of Children and Youth’s “It Takes a VILLAGE” initiative.The flyer explains how to communicate concerns, complaints, or other pertinent information to DCY regarding LCM.
3. Response to Written Communication
Written questions, concerns, or suggestions will be acknowledged and responded to within 72 hours (3 business days).If a telephone number is provided, a phone response will be made within 48 hours (2 business days).
4. Response to Verbal Communication
Verbal questions, concerns, or suggestions will be immediately documented by staff.A copy of this policy will be provided to the individual.The Administrator will respond via telephone within 48 hours (2 business days).
