Empowering Girls Through Compassionate, Whole-Person Care

At The Landry Cook Manor, we provide trauma informed programs designed to help children and families understand, develop, and implement strength-based skills. Every program is designed to support the unique needs of each girl we serve. Our program focuses on academic support, life skills development, and therapeutic and recreational opportunities. Through these initiatives, we strive to empower each child, promote resilience, increase self-esteem, and strengthen relationships.

The Landry Cook Manor uses the National Child Traumatic Stress Network's Think Trauma Model (TTM) as the foundation for our services and staff interactions. The guiding principles of TTM — safety, trustworthiness and transparency, empowerment and choice, peer support, collaboration and mutuality, and attention to cultural and gender issues — are embedded throughout our programming.

Programs include:

From emotional healing and academic progress to life skills and recreation, we offer a comprehensive path toward stability, growth, and lasting success.

We take a holistic, trauma-informed approach to care, addressing the emotional, academic, and developmental needs of each girl in our care.
